I'm so proud of myself... Almost 7 years of smoking and I am now down to anywhere between 0-4 a day... I was at about 15 before I decided to call it quits. Thank you for the support. My prize will be the cruise I am treating myself to in November. My best friend Haley & I have been saving for so long and talking about taking a 'dream trip' since we were probably about 14... On Nov. 9th we will be going to Key West, Mexico & Belize!!! YES!
Hey Taylor, how is the quiting smoking going...when I quit, it was one of the hardest things I ever did, but it finally happened. My best friend Chrissy just quit in March and she hasnt cheated at all..Her husband and I are so proud of her. She bought a Yamaha 1100 motorcycle and went out and learned how to ride it..the monthly payment is less than what she paid for cigs! Anyway, hope its going as well as possible. I just hung up another wind chime in my yard like I made for you right by the hot tub! How is yours doing?
Well, I sometimes get bad about checking my mail... It may have gotten here a few days before lol, but I finally checked it yesterday after wondering if the post office can fit anymore in there! LOL! Hey! When you said you've known 3 people who have died from it, did you mean Crohn's or Cancer??? There's this guy that did a fundraiser called 'Sussman at Sea' and he raised $20,000 for the CCFA by crossing the Atlantic, he personally doesn't have Crohn's or Colitis, but he was doing it for a friend who died from complications due to Crohn's. That was actually the 1st time I had heard of someone dying from it!! Can people die from it?? Do they just keep hush hush cuz it's rare??? Crazyyy! Lol!

Taylor..photo tip..for a better pic of the wind chimes, take one this evening when the sky isnt so bright..the light in the background washes out the subject, so wait even until its dark, put on the flash and you will find the image will look better. I am just tickled to death that it made your day....mission accomplished!!!!!

Hey there kiddo..how are you doing today! Your page looks really cool. I have no idea how to do anything like that! So, how is your search for a new doc going? I can remember when I couldnt go to the pediatric unit anymore..it was like losing some very good friends. In fact when I had surgery when I was 18, they made the hospital put me in that ward so they could take care of me one last time. Its a tough adjustment, as all things are, but hopefully you will find someone caring, and knowledgeable.
Yay! Remicade Day!! Is it weird that I almost get excited when I get my infusions??? I look forward to them sometimes! Lol!! Speaking of which. I have to find a new Dr. but it sucks cuz I work Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00 so it's like how am I gonna possibly search for a dr. and work at the same time!! Ahhh! I can't go back to Children's Mercy after June and my next infusion is May 1. I need to get on top of things! AHHH! Maybe I'll start a discussion in College & Crohns lol.
Thanks Marybeth!! We sure do love him!! Poor little Juice had to be put to sleep last week, so Matt's Mom brought me to the animal shelter to get a new kitten.... Looks like we came home with a little more than that! Lol!! We were so devestated about losing little Juice, but Charlie fits in with our family perfect. I guess Juice had a neurological problem and she ended up losing function in all of her legs and couldn't use the potty anymore. It was just a very expensive diagnosis, so we did what we thought was best for us and for her. I feel like she's at peace now!! Hope you are wellllll!!!!!

Hi Taylor..I am so sorry to hear about Bobbi cat! Oh my gosh that must have been scary and heart wrenching all at the same time. Maybe there is some kind of symbolism in this because it is Easter week....I think you better go to the humane society and find your self a brand new baby kitten to love and take care of along with your other kitty. Again, I am so sorry to hear this awful news..our pets become like our family and that makes it so hard. I will send you an email in the next couple days telling you about the lovebird I had that died on valentines day..its very sad, but the way I tell it, you will laugh your head off...the funny part is not about the bird, but about me! Hey Marybeth!! I love your new profile picture! It's sooo cute!!! A tragedy has struck!!! My poor Bobbi cat (not the 1 that fell, the other) died yesterday!!!!!! I was at home sick from work and i heard her and I thought she had a hairball, but when I went up to her all this blood was coming out of her mouth and she started choking on it and died. I CANT believe that happened!! I don't know what was wrong with her. She must have been sick and I never knew. Ahhhhhhhh!!! Pray for me!!

She's actually doing very well! After the accident we brought her home with painkillers and antibiotics. She is scheduled to have surgery on her broken leg on the 15th of this month. I read about your cat on myspace...I am sooo sorry. I had a cat that my ex husband accidently slammed her leg in a door while I was out of state on a business trip......they had to operate to fix her leg...i was so sad....but Gracie did ok..but it was a tramatic experience. Hope you are doing ok.
