So good to hear that you are at least seeing some improvement since the Remicade!!! Good for you! I was out of work for a long time too. From about April to August or something, it was over an entire summer I know that much! I bet you'll be happy to get back into your routine.

thank you im sooo happy that i can possibly eat salad and even popcorn in the future!!   i had an appointment with my G.I today and although im not in remission yet i seem to getting better.  yeaah remicade!!    im also allowed to start slowly eating things that are not on the "low fiber diet".  Unfortunately he said i shouldn't go back to work til september!!  We ended up compromising with Mid August.    Im glad to hear you are doing well and enjoying lots of popcorn and salads :)

Also-- Don't write off those salads or popcorn forever... Now that I am in Remission, I can eat anything that any 'normal' person could eat. When I am in a flare, NOTHING I eat works, but in Remission, I pig out and enjoy my food hahah! I know it is hard to see it now, its hard to even remember what 'normal' feels like until you finally get there, but I promise you WILL get there, sooner than y ou may think. I hope that you see the same success with Remicade that I have, then you will most definitely be back in business before too long. Best of luck to you and I hope to hear from ya soon!

Hey Sara! Thankfully, I have been in remission for just over 3 years now. I get Remicade infusions every 8 weeks, I used to have to take Pentasa for maintenance, but I'm happy to say that I don't even need that anymore!! All I need is the Remicade and I'm good! Hopefully it stays that way for a longgg time. How are you feeling?
