Thats good to hear that summer is going well.  I've been enjoying my summer so far too.  Been hanging out with friends and working a little here and there which is nice.  Overall, I'm just resting and getting prepared to go back to school this fall.  And I know what you mean about the good pain/bad pain part.  I went running the other day and while it was a good pain to get exercise and work some unused muscles, it was also a bad pain because I ran too far!  Who runs too far?? Honestly?  Well, I guess I overdid and now my calves hurt like hell.  So I guess its a good and a bad pain?

Tay let me tell you even if the doctors tell you that you cannot have children don't give up hope.  During my first marriage the doctors told me that while I could get pregnant the chances of me retaining that pregnancy were obsolete and that in most cases I would probably miscarry within the first 6 weeks.  Well for almost 18 years I lived with that knowledge.  My first husband and I never used any protection and never even had a scare.  We divorced because he got someone else pregnant only confirming that the problem was mine.   Needless to say I was 37, single, dating a man who had 3 failed marriages himself due to infertility.  We used a condom and it broke the one and only time we were together and damn if I didn't discover nearly 7 weeks later that I was pregnant.  While it was a high risk pregnancy I used power sanders, moved my grandmother and worked out including bike riding every day for those first 7 weeks and I did not miscarry.  I had my beautiful daughter and 18 months later my son.  ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!  Never give up hope no matter what and neither of my kids have any signs of Crohn's and believe me I have them to the Pediatric GI for every stomach ache they complain of.

    Taylor-B,

...Having a sense humor and spending all day with words like "cytotoxic" and "immunosuppressant" running through a person's mind is a complete change in direction; I suppose that going from one extreme corner to another over a distance like that builds up a lot of momentum, and by the time it gets over to "Funny" the notion has gained enough speed to actually get a sad example of natural selection like me to start laughing.

In 2002 Marijuana and Crohn's disease began the active stages for a complete takeover of the life I had once imagined for myself, and in a matter of less than eighteen months took me from seeing myself as an overachiever weeks from graduating high-school and working nearly full time to being an unemployed dropout collecting social security.

Living with widespread, inoperable Crohn's meant finding a way to survive without surgery, and marijuana is one of the few alternative treatments capable of the kind of immunomodulation required for taming the disease.  After being absorbed into a Pot-Cult and living on "Church grounds" for six months in 2004 I had met the people who for themselves had discovered safe and non-toxic ways in order to isolate the plant organs containing the highest concentrations of active components, along with enough mind-control programing to assure the cult administration that after being let loose I would never be able to use any of the techniques for myself.

Eight weeks after leaving the Cult for the first time a black-out concussion brought on total amnesia and four of the following six weeks were lived as an inpatient of the Sacramento County Mental Health Treatment Center.  It took almost three weeks to get a CT scan performed to asses the damage from the blow.  Six months later I started doing resin extractions for myself.

One of the biggest pieces of work that needs to be done in our world is the normalization (NOT NORML, they are all evil jerk Lawyers on the bankroll of prohibition) of safe and effective medical marijuana use.

Fulel-less lighters are a big part of whether or not that is going to happen.  So is resin extraction performed only with purified water, no chemicals whatsoever.

At the moment I am doing what I can to find out if there is a book that I can write that describes the life experiences that led to these discoveries for myself, and in turn the exact methods involved and benefits thereof.  Right now I'm about six thousand words into it, and I haven't even gotten to the part when cannabis finds me.

Sharing what marijuana has become for me is a passion I am committed to.

Taylor-the weekend was BUSY! Since school is out for summer our business at the sheriff's office has doubled!  There is nothing for the kids to do around here and they get into all sorts of trouble that our parents would have beaten our butts over.  I hope the smoking thing is getting better for you! Me and this ostomy have our days.  Twice this week it has erupted on me. Once was last night at work. Thankfully it just got on me and the bathroom floor.  I've been on a cherry Dr Pepper kick lately!  Not good for the bag!  I hope that you are doing well.  Love the pooch pics! I bought Shadow a new camoflage collar cause his harness was rubbing all his hair off. He's thinks he's hot stuff now! I wll holler at ya later. Gotta get a nap if I'm going to be civil with my public tonight!

Sick of this flare, but as long as I don't try to stand up too long or eat anything it's tolerable.  Chillin' with some George Strait right now.  How's your summer going?
