Just started reading about this and I'm so interested now! I'm going to talk to my doctor about it when I see him next!

    I found this book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786437154/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

and this video on it: http://autoimmunesyndrome.com/uncategorized/low-dose-naltrexone-25-05-2008/

That's great Jennie - always good to hear about people experiencing relief with LDN. I feel confident in saying I am in remission from Crohn's now on 3mg LDN a day and feeling much much better.

Here is a good audio file about the LDN trial -

I started at 1.5mg and am at 2.5mg now. I am seeing a huge difference. I never thought I would have this much freedom again.

Another compelling case for the use of LDN for IBD in the UK NHS.

Thanks for bringing this idea up to the community.  I have never even heard of it.

Hi Jon - As you say, I'm afraid it's UK residents only.

There's a Canadian petition too but I don't have the details to hand.

I'll post them when I can find them as I'm sure there are plenty of Canadians on wearecrohns who would be interested in sigining it.

Would like to help sign the petition, although I'm here in the States.  My son was part of the LDN clinical trial at Penn St. Hershey Med Ctr.  He's doing very well on 4.5 LDN.  We had to go outside the medical system to find this wonderful option, but it hasn't been easy.  I read all the suffering people go through and can't help but believe they would try LDN if it were more available or visible.

Wow! The LDN number 10 .gov petition is now nearing 2700 signatures - not bad seeing as it was neating 2500 when I posted about it last week.  Still only about 20% of the way there though, so a long way to go to get 15,000 signatures in the next 5 months - So keep spreading the word to any UK citizen you know who can sign to do so and to ask anyone they know etc.

    Thanks.
