Who? What? Where? When? Why?

This is a pretty simple discussion trying to stray away from Crohn's related info, but college related nonetheless.

So I was just wondering since this is the College Community who they, where they go, what they're studying, likes/dislikes...pretty much a get to know one another type discussion.

I'll go first.

My name is Robert Jay Matuska, but everyone including my parents call me Jay.  This fall I am going to be a junior at Marquette University studying Commercial Real Estate and Entrepreneurship.  For those of you that don't know Marquette is located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I love being in a downtown environment despite growing up in the suburbs of Plymouth, Minnesota.  I currently reside in Geneva, Illinois at my parents house and work as an intern for my dad's company.

I like watching movies.  I probably watch a movie a day on tv, the internet, or from my stacks of DVDs I have at home.  I played soccer as a kid, but forced to retire because of the Crohns.  And I also enjoy working with Habitat for Humanity.

    Well, I'm Janet, and I'm finishing my third year (yikes!) at UC Riverside in sunny Southern California.  I'm studying Sociology and thinking about minoring in Psychology.  Crime absolutely fascinates me and my dream job would be to be a Forensic Psychologist.  I also love children, and at the moment, I'm planning on going home (Northern California, yee!) and getting my teaching credential.  I'm twenty years old and I'm from Santa Clara, California which is about five minutes north of San Jose and fourty-five minutes south of San Francisco.  I love & miss home :)

    I'm a huge hockey fan!  My favorite team is the San Jose Sharks but I'm also just a fan of the game in general.  On any given day you're likely to find me with a Starbucks in one hand and my cell phone in the other.  I love coffee and text messaging, haha.  I also love music and I listen to ALL types.  My favorite band is Jimmy Eat World :)

    I'm Taylor.

     I go to Johnson County Community College in the Kansas City Metro... I have been attending on an off for.. well.. way too long haha! I am currently working on my degree in Business Administration. The company I work for, Capital Resources, LLC, is funding my schooling, and in turn, that is why I decided to work toward a degree in Business. I am an office assistant here at Capital Resources, a commercial lending company out of the KC Metro. I've been here for almost 2 years now and hope to be here for a long time to come. I grew up in Olathe, Kansas... Also in... Take a wild guess.. The Kansas City Metropolitan! Lol! I am 21 years old, I have an apartment with my boyfriend & 2 pitbulls and love chillen out with my friends and makin money! :)

    Hey I am Basmah. I am a senior at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities chapter. I am majoring in Child Psychology, and thinking about minoring in Family and Social Science since i only have to take like a couple of classes. I love basketball and can tolerate other sports...but I HATE the new TCF bank stadium on campus. Unfortunately our teams are not good enough to deserve it, but whatever.

    I love music and movies with a passion. I can pretty much quote random stuff from any disney films to corny pop music from the 80s. Same thing with Seinfeld episodes. My favorite music band are the Smashing Pumpkins. I also love hanging out with my friends, drinking tea, reading, and other nerdy stuff :)

    Morning, Im Crystal. Currently atteding Durham College in Oshawa, ON. Taking 911 Dispatcher Diploma / Emerg. Manag. Graduate Certificate. As well as a few courses on th side dealing with Sociology, Psychology, & Forensics.

    I spend majority of my time on the computer. I order free samples and coupons (fun hobby and a way to save money.) As well as earn money and GC online. I love music - its a way to calm me down and be relaxed. I also love medical & emergency shows such as ER, Rescue Me, Trauma:Life in the ER, etc.

    hey i'm nicola, unlike all of you i live in the UK, i have just graduated from Keele University with a first class honours degree in Mathematics. I'm now at home in norwich norfolk and trying to decide what i want to do with the rest of my life and to be honest its the scariest things i've ever had to do. i'd like to think i'm a typical 21 year old girl, i love shopping and sleeping, i blame the anaemia for that.

    I'm Courtney. I am currently in my third year at Morehead State University. It's a small college in Eastern Kentucky. I live on campus. I usually go home a lot on the weekends to be with my family. I can barely go  two weeks without seeing them! My family and church are very important to me, so I can't stay away too long. My major is Elementary Education. I love it! And I also plan on getting my masters degree as well. I am involved in some organizations on campus like Phi Sigma Pi ( co-ed honor's fraternity), the BCM (Baptist Christian Ministries) , and the MSC (Methodist Student Center). It's a lot of fun!  In my spare time I like to read and write. I also like going to the lake. :)
