Do You Drink Coffee

I gave up coffee a few months ago because I thought the excess caffeine was doing me more harm than good.

However, I've come to realize that, in moderation, I really like having a few cups to jump start my day.

I have since balanced out my early caffeine fix with ample amounts of water during the day.

So, my question to you:  Do You Drink Coffee?

    No, I never liked the taste of coffee.  Maybe my body didnt like it and I realized that somehow, but i dont have the urge to drink it.

    I went a long time without drinking it.  I should also note that I started drinking it when my son started getting up at 6am on the weekends.

    I now have 1-2 cups in the morning, smaller cup, make it a tad weaker. I used to drink quite a bit of strong by noon. This last Thursday night we went to dinner, something we do every week, dinner, movie, whatever. Sitting at dinner, the waitress asked if I would like a cup of coffee, I'm not usually an evening drinker, but it was a long day so I thought a little pep would do me good. Well it was the best coffee I'd had in a long time, something about someone else making it. Along with it tasting very good, I was awake all night, wired to the hilt. My whole house got cleaned that night.

    I work at a cafe and love, love, love espresso. But if I drink it I use soy milk for a latte. . .and always drink water through out the day, regardless. I can only have one or at the very most two a day, beyond that the pain it causes isn't worth it. But I've found at smaller increments I can tolerate it.

    i really dont like the taste of coffee.. and it makes me poo.. i think i poo enough.. so i try to stay away from those sort of things

    thought about giving it up, but its delicious and ive given up soooo many things.  i just cut back.   my doctor says it shouldnt hurt me, just might make me poo more. i can live with that.

    It definitely triggers symptoms, but I drink a cup every morning anyways lol!

    Try tea instead, try to stick to the decaff. I make my own blends sometimes. Try some cammamille and spearmint right from the garden. I drink alot of tea, strong black tea brewed and served the british way w/ cream and sugar is my fav. though.

    When I first got sick, I gave up coffee for 3 months and I had to deal with the headaches for awhile.  I love coffee..all kinds of coffee, so when I got better I started drinking it again and have not had many problems with it.  It does however give me many trips to the restroom.
