Sarah - I just did my second round of two shots of Cimzia last night and I woke up with a headache today too!  As the day goes on it gets less painful.  hmmm interesting

has anyone had trouble getting air bubbles out of the syringe? I need to take my injection tonight and there is a huge air bubble stuck at the top. It just floats around, but not close enough to push out, without losing a lot of the medication. I have been having trouble with my insurance so I'm going on almost 3 weeks when I should be in the beginning phases still. I would hate to wait again because I cannot take it.

Sarah, It does take a few weeks for some people to experience any improvement.  I do hope Cimzia brings ou some relief.  Keep us posted.

Second injection this Tuesday, went pretty well. I had a migraine all day wednesday, not sure if the injection had anything to do with it... felling great yesterday and today. I still really haven't seen the medication take effect on my Chrons yet... waiting, they said it take a few warm-up injections

I just had my first injections tonight, about 3 hours ago... I am experiencing really bad cramping in my lower back and stomach, is this something anyone else has experienced?

Has anyone noticed that their diarrhea incresed shortly after their injections?  It's happened twice to me.  The day after my anti-diarrhea meds don't seem to be able to keep it under control for a few days.

I hope they will, I'm very nervous about taking this, hoping it will work! My Dr. seems pretty confident that it will, she is very up to date on the newest meds. I'll have to come back and let everyone know how it goes.

I think going to the doctors office is an option.  However, as far as I know it has not yet been approved for self injection.  At least according to my nurse.  UCB will pay a nurse to come to your house and inject it.

I'm not sure I can do this, maybe I can go into the office and get my injections... I'll have to ask more questions =) This is the first shot I've been on, I'm taking Pentasa and Entocort now. I'll find out next week about real deal after the colonoscopy.
