Your story reads a lot like many people I know. Because my dad was a physician and also has Crohn's, he knew what to look for. So I was diagnosed fairly easily and quickly. At one point, I joined a support group when I was living in NYC and many people there told the same story of misdiagnosis or, worse, being told it was all in their heads.
Hang in there girl! I know that having 3 beautiful babies makes you more determined to get through the pain.
hello Amanda.... Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas, and a New Year blessed with happiness and good health! As we look back thru the years, may you treasure the moments spent together with your loved ones..... you are in my thoughts/ prayers :)
I am so sorry to hear that you, your daughter and cousin are not well. It is worse when it is your child. You want to take the illness for them. I have had all the symptoms of CD, including abcesses and a rectovaginal fistula. After going thru surgery to repair the fistula and battery of testing, I was told I had IBS. I still have accidents on myself even with meds. I am having problems with migraines, depression and anxiety and my migraine med side affects. My Dr says I am on the verge of a complete mental breakdown.
I will be praying for you all. I just started a Christian Community called A Touch of His Hand to come to for support if you are interested. I hope you have a great Christmas!
No I can click and save! Thanks so much! I love it! And you are very welcome. I wouldn't usually give that one out, but you asked so nicely and it's Christmas and you are looking for the Christmas spirit and I have it in my heart!! Love & Prayers!!
